Copy-editing

I have been working as an onscreen copy-editor since 1993.

My speciality is TEFL books, and I also transliterate into the IPA. However, I have also worked successfully on a wide variety of non-fiction publications, ranging from information about animal breeds to instructions for handling bromine.

I have qualified as a Member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, and I continue to update my training to keep abreast of the fast-moving world of IT.

I have recently gained an Open University degree in linguistics, Latin and Ancient Greek, and astronomy and cosmology. My recent activities include crewing a Tall Ship and converting our sheep farm to organic production. So my knowledge base is, to say the least, eclectic!
